I wrote programs that used the URL query tracking of shipments so that I could monitor shipments in an automated fashion - does this still work?

  1. Yes, for now the original URL tracking systems still operate using a transitional mechanism. If you previously used a link such as:
    http://www.usfc.com/tools/truckingresults.asp?Carrier=USFDugan&TrackType=H&TrackNumber=435XXXXXX.
You will now need to use a link formatted as follows:
    http://www.usfc.com/shipmentStatus/shipmentStatustWS.jsp?Carrier= USFHolland&TrackType=H&TrackNumber=435XXXXXX").
For more detailed information, please go to: http://www.usfc.com/ltl/technology/url_queries.jsp
Please email us at usfnetsupport@usfc.com to let us know if you are currently doing this so that we can alert you to changes and involve your company in testing should we make future changes.

I currently use a screen-scraping tool to scan the USF web site to track hundreds of shipments. I don't have time to reprogram it now!

  1. We can direct you to a transitional web site so that you can continue to screen-scrape for tracking information while you reprogram your system. Please email us at usfnetsupport@usfc.com and we can direct you to the original web site, which will still be in operation temporarily. To avoid the future risk associated with integrating with a visual web site which regularly gets updated, you may want to consider some of our other integration options including XML web services or our URL query string mechanism. We can work with you to find the solution that fits your needs the best.
